Welcome to Four Acre Farm, a little patch of pig paradise on the outskirts of Neston on the Wirral Peninsula.
We are a family-run farm providing exceptional produce to customers across the Wirral and beyond. To help our new and existing customers with social distancing at this difficult time, we are putting together specially-prepared boxes. Each box contains high-quality meat from our free range animals. As our regular customers will attest, you won’t find pork with more flavour anywhere in the region.
At Four Acre Farm, we breed Highland cows and Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. We chose these breeds because we love them. Meg owned an Oxford Sandy and Black pig when she was growing up and, as for the Highland cows – who couldn’t fall in love with those faces?
Both breeds are 100% British and, as they don’t grow so fast, are used less often on commercial farms where it’s all about the numbers and the turnover. Their slower growth makes their meat more tender and flavourful, resulting in the exceptional products we provide.
All of our pork products are made using the finest cuts of meat from our own farm-reared pigs. As well as traditional joints, chops, and bacon, we create our own pork sausages, burgers, and kebabs, all handmade to our own recipe.
Alongside our pork, we incorporate other high-quality ingredients into our burgers, sausages, and kebabs. We use flavours like apple, chilli, ginger, and lime to complement the succulent taste of the meat, without overpowering it. All our products are guaranteed to satisfy even the heartiest appetite and have you coming back for more.
At the moment, our cows are used purely as breeding stock, though we have plans to introduce them into our products within the year.
